Private Lessons
Give the gift of personalized music instruction.
Private and personalized lessons are the key to experiencing the joy of music and learning skills that will last far beyond making music.
I give students the tools they need to learn piano while also having fun. Using a combination of familiar and new songs to develop my students ability to play piano, understand music, and ultimately embody and express the music.

Having fun is the best way to teach creative skills, especially in a child's music development. During music lessons, I prioritize the enjoyment of making music from day one. By instilling a love for music early on, my students are more likely to develop a lifelong passion for piano and continue to grow as musicians.

Every student needs a strong musical foundation, and I'm committed to building that foundation. Through our lessons, students learn the essential building blocks of music, including tone, rhythm, musicality, melody, harmony, dynamics, timbre, and texture. Understanding these musical elements enables students to develop a deep appreciation for music and become well-rounded musicians.

Great pianists and musicians possess a deep understanding of an often overlooked skill in making music: movement. I help every student develop a deeper understanding of the connection behind the physical and musical when creating beautiful music. By developing this awareness, dexterity, and control, my students can unlock their full potential and produce truly beautiful music.

Music is more than just notes on a page; it's about understanding what makes it captivating and executing that with skill. I work with my students to develop a deep understanding of music and how to bring the full potential of each piece to life.

While not every student may want to become a concert pianist, lessons learned through piano instruction have far-reaching benefits that extend beyond music. In fact, many of my students go on to accomplish wonderful things in a wide range of fields.
Piano is a process-based learning tool that teaches valuable life skills, such as self-expression, discipline, comprehension, excellence, public performance skills, delayed gratification, active listening, socialization, pattern recognition, emoting, and emotional intelligence.
Some of these skills are learned best through music education, and learning this skills together leads to a powerful and well-rounded approach to life, regardless of the career path taken.
